frequently asked questions
where are you based?
I’m technically based in Hertfordshire however, as it takes me just 20 mins to get into Central London I always say it’s North London.
will you travel?
Absolutely! I love travelling and would fly anywhere on the earth for your wedding if you want me to capture it! Travel within the UK over 80 miles from my place incurs a £100 travel fee and I will more than likely need 1-2 nights local accommodation paid for as well, depending on how late you want us to stay.
If you’re having your wedding abroad, I would absolutely love to capture it! Take a look at my destinations page here.
how soon will we receive our photos?
I always send my couples 10-15 previews from the day as soon as I can after the wedding. Then the full turnaround of all your high res photos will be within 4-6 weeks depending on how busy the season is for me. Your images will all be uploaded into your own private online gallery for you to download and share with your friends and family.
how many photos will we receive?
With my full day package you’ll receive at least 500+ but really it can range anywhere between 500-1000 high res photos and that all depends on a combination of different things like how many details are at your wedding, different locations, amount of guests and length of coverage, etc.. I don’t like to put an exact number on it.
can we meet you before we book?
Unfortunately, during my busiest wedding periods I can only have face to face consultations with couples who have decided to book. If you’re interested in booking but would like to meet me before hand, I would love to have a Skype/video call with you both to chat all about your wedding day plans if you’d like!
how do we book you?
I am taking bookings at the moment for 2019 and 2020 and the dates are filling up fast. I really hate turning away lovely couples so please get in touch to find out my availability once you have booked your venue! If you decide you’d like to book me to capture your lovely wedding day, I will do a little happy dance and then all you need to do is pay a 40% non-refundable booking fee and sign a contract and your date is secure in my diary!
who is your second shooter?
The second shooter helping me on the day will most likely be my boyfriend, Daniel. However, if he is not available I have a tonne of wonderful and talented photographers that I have worked with frequently before.
why is wedding photography so expensive?
My prices are based on my experience and talent within the wedding industry and on time and effort spent. Read more about pricing in my blog post here.
