Fun London couple shoots

If the thought of having your photo taken makes you want to run a mile and even worse having to do this all day on your wedding day makes you want to vom, I recommend this great solution – a pre-wedding couple shoot! I promise it’s not as cringey as you may think.

The majority of my couples come to me and say “we hate having our photo taken” or “ I feel really uncomfortable in front of the camera” and I totally get it. I’m a completely awkward weirdo in front of the camera too, as the photos on this website can attest to. Unless you’re a model or an actor it’s a bit of an alien concept which is why I always suggest a pre-wedding couple shoot to people who feel like this. It’s a great way to practise being in front of the camera before your wedding day and on the plus side it’s always a good laugh and it’ll give us both an opportunity to get to know each other and how we work so we can be prepped for the wedding. By then you’ll be a professional!

As Fiona & Ben were having a Richmond wedding surrounded by beautiful nature at Bingham Riverhouse next to the river Thames, they opted for a more urban scene for their engagement shoot. Shoreditch always boasts incredible art murals and endless spots to use as backdrops to get cool photos and we even dipped into Crosstown to escape the cold and get some doughnuts!
