This week marks two years since this sensational wedding weekender in France for Leonie & Mark!

With their wedding venue Hotel de la Plage being right on the waters edge of Lake Geneva, I had been eagle eye watching the weather forecast all week and lo and behold, a storm was brewing to hit the wedding day you guessed it…right when the outdoor ceremony was scheduled.

Luckily a wet weather back up plan was quickly put together in the form of two gazebos AND the weather held off just long enough for the ceremony, the drinks reception and a gorgeous portrait session with L & M (slide to the end) 😉

To be honest, I love an atmospheric sky! It allowed me time to capture these moody photos of the storm brewing across the lake of Leonies cousins climbing the trees and playing in the water!

Then the heavens let loose just as we sat down for dinner! Weather gods firmly on our side 🙏🏼

Next weekend I will be heading back to Euridge Manor, the absolutely stunning, ever giving of endless photographic opportunities wedding venue just outside of Bath. And it has got me reminiscing on Kate & Luke’s wedding.

First up some slides from the Orangery which Kate used for bridal prep and of course I was in my element because if you couldn’t tell Orange is my favourite colour!! ☺️
