MC Motors Hindu Wedding Extravaganza

Amanda & Sailesh found me at Chosen Wedding Fair last Spring and booked me a few days later I think mainly because of how EXCITED I became when I heard about their wedding hahah and also of course because they liked my work! They explained they were getting married in MC Motors in Dalston which is an old car showroom turned photography and film studio/event space filled with awesome props and neon signs and I immediately squealed with excitement. They then went on to explain that it would be a Hindu ceremony because Sailesh’s heritage is Indian and that they would be having a more traditional english registry earlier in the week at the recently refurbished Old Marylebone Town Hall! two gorgeous and unique venues = woohoooooo!!!!!!!

their mc motors wedding was fantastically quirky and having never shot a hindu wedding before it was so interesting to watch all the traditional and wonderful ritual’s carried out and lead by (BLAH BLAH) the first female hindu priest in the uk. we were so spoilt for choice as to where to take the couple photos as the venue has so many awesome props and backdrops - i could have kept going for hours but alas we had to stop so the couple could enjoy a delicious authentic indian dinner with their closest friends and family. after the cutlery was down there were 3 hilarious speeches including a surprise joint speech from the bride & Groom, a cutting of all four of the wedding cakes and some acoustic music from (BLAH BLAH) for their drinks reception and then to top it all off they had a silent disco in the evening powered by into entertain and then voodoo rays pizza!!!!

(P.s - i’ve also included some images from their gorgeous registry office ceremony too, so scroll right down to the bottom to see those!)
