a bit about me
london wedding photographer
Hey! I’m Sophie!
I’m so happy you’ve come to my site and want to find out a bit about the girl behind the lens. Well for starters I am a super relaxed photographer based just outside of North London, living with my boyfriend and his dog, Alfie!
When I'm not shooting weddings, you'll usually find me working away at my laptop on other photography projects which you can see more of here. Either that or i'll be dancing away in my house to something funky, sipping on an oat milk latte, people watching in a café or drinking tequila with anyone who will drink tequila with me!!
I love working with awesome, crazy in love couples who are creative, inspired and super fun. i love hearing all about your love story and how it all began, no matter how big or small it may have been - i love love in all it’s forms!
(totally unrelated) facts about me!
I hardly ever cut my hair, probably about 5 times in the last 10 years
London is still my favourite city, even after visiting many city’s in many other countries!
I am an avid bargain hunter - can’t resist those yellow and res stickers
I went to uni to study photography and graduated with a bachelors degree but if i’m honest I learnt way more on the job and for me it was a waste of time
I’m big on helping to save the environment, I hate waste!!
Pandas are my favourite animal
I travelled around Central America for 4 months in 2017 and it was one of the best experiences of my life and I honestly do not get out of the UK enough. If I could spend the rest of my life roaming the world without a care, taking photos and meeting weird and wonderful people, I would.
I love a BBC drama and fantasy, crime, and phycological thriller movies
I collect statement clothing like jackets, earrings and hats (help, it’s getting out of control!!!!!)
I find people so interesting
Politics confuses the hell out of me :)
Chocolate and biscuits are my kryptonite. Chocolate biscuits well, just hand me the packet.
Some recent new loves of mine are ginger flavoured things and pork ramen! YUM!
